Spring Forward with Smarter IT
Q2 is here, now it’s about execution, not just plans
As Q2 begins, many IT teams are shifting from planning to execution. Budgets are set. Priorities are locked. However, the difference between firefighting and forward progress often comes down to one thing: visibility.
Without clear insight into your IT environment, how systems perform, how employees experience them, and where the security risks hide, decisions become reactive. And that’s expensive, both in time and trust.
But visibility is not enough. At the end, it’s a question about results. How can I effectively turn the issues brought by visibility into actions that lead to improved outcomes? And how can I turn this operation into a systematic operating model by leveraging automation?
The winning formula = automated visibility + defined quality metrics based on improved visibility + automated quality monitoring + automatic notifications of detected deviations! This leads to super-efficient, quality-enhancing team performance, more with less money.
At Applixure, we believe that great IT teams work best when equipped with the right tools, easy-to-use tools that free up the team’s working time for other important tasks. It’s about preventing disruptions, not just fixing them. It’s about helping people work without friction. And it’s about making sure IT remains a strategic partner to the business.
This quarter, as initiatives get underway, take a moment to ask: Are we set up to move fast and fix less?
If the answer isn’t clear, we’re here to help.
Wishing you a productive Q2,
Best regards,
CEO, Applixure
We’re excited to announce the release of several new features based on your feedback, designed to enhance your Applixure experience and help you get even more value from our platform:
We’ve expanded our software inventory capabilities to include browser add-ons on both Windows and macOS platforms. Supported browsers include Chrome (and Chromium-based browsers like Edge, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi), Firefox, and Safari on macOS.
This new feature allows you to see which browser add-ons are installed across your environment. To address potential privacy concerns and increased data volume, the feature is disabled by default and must be enabled manually per environment under: Settings → Optional Components & Features.
⚠️ Note: This is a beta feature. Some inaccuracies may occur as data is parsed directly from browsers.
Currently:
Add-ons are listed under the software inventory.
The hosting browser and enablement status are displayed (except Safari, which is always shown as enabled).
No usage metrics or software scores are available for add-ons.

You can now configure Single Sign-On (SSO) for Applixure Analytics using Okta with full support for Service Provider (SP)-initiated authentication via the OIDC protocol.
This integration allows users to authenticate seamlessly across all Applixure products using their organization's Okta credentials.
Once configured, SSO applies across all Applixure products for both environment and account-level users.
📘 Refer to our main SSO documentation and Okta-specific configuration guide for full step-by-step instructions.
If you encounter any setup issues, our support team can assist. Make sure to also check our Applixure release notes for 2025/H1.
For environments with connectivity reporting enabled, the Use dashboard now includes two new insights:
VPN Activity: Devices with/without VPN connections in the past 7 days.
IP Address Types: Devices categorized by IP configuration – dynamic, static, or mixed. (Requires IP reporting to be enabled.)
These additions help IT teams better understand connectivity trends and improve network-level visibility.
Workflow now alerts users when a manual board-level filter contains invalid syntax.
If the filter string is invalid:
A warning appears under the filter.
The filter is ignored until corrected.
You can refer to our Help Center article for syntax guidance or switch to the graphical filter builder to ensure valid input.
Making changes to the filter will automatically reprocess and revalidate it.
Some of our newly added features are developed based on your valuable feedback, and we’re committed to continuously improving our platform to meet your needs. Have more ideas? You can always submit feature requests to help shape the future of Applixure.
